Reflecting the long-standing friendship between Ethiopia and Myanmar, I proudly presented my credentials as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to President H.E. Mr. Taye Atske Selassie on June 3, 2025, marking the opening of the Myanmar Embassy in Addis Ababa. Our primary goal is to strengthen economic, social, and diplomatic ties between our two nations. We aim to accelerate mutual understanding and trust across various sectors, grounded in shared values of multilateral cooperation, international peace, and sustainable development.

Furthermore, protecting the interests of Myanmar citizens residing in Ethiopia is one of our highest priorities. We are committed to providing efficient and timely consular services, passport renewals, and visa information to ensure our citizens receive the necessary support without delay. At the same time, we stand ready to provide information and consular assistance to international partners and friends of Myanmar who wish to explore Myanmar’s natural beauty and culture or visit for travel.

The Embassy pledges to work tirelessly not only for the interests of our nation and its citizens but also to ensure that the friendship between our two countries and the sustainable partnership with all our friendly nations shine even brighter. ချစ်ခင်လေးစားအပ်ပါသော မြန်မာ့မိတ်ဆွေများခင်ဗျား –

အီသီယိုပီးယားဖယ်ဒရယ်ဒီမိုကရေစီသမ္မတနိုင်ငံ၊ အဒစ်အဘာဘာမြို့ အခြေစိုက်၊ ပြည်ထောင်စု သမ္မတမြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော်သံရုံး၏ ဝဘ်ဆိုဒ်သို့ လာရောက်လည်ပတ်ကြသော ဧည့်သည်တော်များ၊ မိဘပြည်သူများနှင့် မိတ်ဆွေများအားလုံးကို နွေးထွေးစွာ ကြိုဆိုနှုတ်ခွန်းဆက်သအပ်ပါသည်။

အီသီယိုပီးယားနိုင်ငံနှင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတို့အကြား နှစ်ရှည်လများ တည်ရှိခဲ့သော ချစ်ကြည် ရင်းနှီးမှုကြောင့် ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်၊ ဇွန်လ ၃ ရက်နေ့တွင် သမ္မတကြီး မစ္စတာ တေယေး အက်ဆကေ ဆီလာဆီ (H.E. Mr. Taye Atske Selassie) ထံသို့ ပြည်ထောင်စုသမ္မတမြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော်၏ အထူးအာဏာကုန် လွှဲအပ်ခြင်းခံရသော သံအမတ်ကြီးအဖြစ် ခန့်အပ်လွှာကို ပေးအပ်ခဲ့ပြီး အဒစ်အဘာဘာမြို့တွင် ပြည်ထောင်စုသမ္မတမြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော်သံရုံးအား ဖွင့်လှစ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ အဓိကရည်မှန်းချက်မှာ နှစ်နိုင်ငံအကြား စီးပွားရေး၊ လူမှုရေးနှင့် သံတမန်ရေးရာ ဆက်သွယ်မှုများကို ပိုမိုခိုင်မာစေရန်နှင့် ကဏ္ဍပေါင်းစုံ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှု၊ နိုင်ငံတကာ ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေး၊ ရေရှည်တည်တံသော ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်မှုများတွင် ခိုင်မာသော တန်ဖိုးထားမှုများနှင့် အတူ အခြားသောကဏ္ဍများတွင်လည်း အပြန်အလှန် နားလည်ယုံကြည်မှုများကို အရှိန်အဟုန်ဖြင့် တိုးမြှင့်ဆောင်ရွက်သွားရန် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။

ထို့အပြင် အီသီယိုပီးယားနိုင်ငံတွင် ရောက်ရှိနေထိုင်ကြသော မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသားများ၏ အကျိုး စီးပွားကို ကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်ရန်မှာလည်း ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ အလေးထားရသော တာဝန်တစ်ရပ် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် မိဘပြည်သူများအတွက် လိုအပ်သည့် ကောင်စစ်ဆိုင်ရာဝန်ဆောင်မှုများ၊ နိုင်ငံကူးလက်မှတ်နှင့် ဗီဇာဆိုင်ရာ အချက်အလက်များကို အချိန်နှင့်တပြေးညီ လွယ်ကူလျင်မြန်စွာ ရရှိနိုင်စေရန် ရည်မှန်းကာ ထိရောက်မြန်ဆန်အောင် အစွမ်းကုန် ကြိုးပမ်းဆောင်ရွက်လျက် ရှိပါ သည်။ တစ်ချိန်တည်းမှာပင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ သဘာဝအလှအပနှင့် ယဉ်ကျေးမှုများကို လေ့လာ လိုသည့် သို့မဟုတ် အလည်အပတ်ခရီး လာရောက်လိုသည့် နိုင်ငံတကာမိတ်ဖက်များ၊ မြန်မာ့ မိတ်ဆွေများအတွက်လည်း လိုအပ်သော သတင်းအချက်အလက်များနှင့် ကောင်စစ်ဆိုင်ရာ ဝန်ဆောင်မှု ကဏ္ဍကိုလည်း အချိန်နှင့်တပြေးညီ ရရှိစေရန် ကူညီပံ့ပိုးမှုများကို အစဉ်အမြဲ ပေးအပ်သွားရန် အသင့်ရှိနေပါသည်။

ကျွန်တော်တို့ သံရုံးအနေဖြင့် နိုင်ငံတော်နှင့် နိုင်ငံသားများ၏ အကျိုးစီးပွားအတွက်သာမက၊ နှစ်နိုင်ငံ ချစ်ကြည်ရေး တည်တံခိုင်မြဲရေးအပြင် မိတ်ဆွေနိုင်ငံများနှင့်လည်း ချစ်ကြည်ရေး၊ ရေရှည် တည်တံသော မိတ်ဖက်ဆက်ဆံရေးများ ပိုမိုတောက်ပလာစေရန်အတွက်ပါ စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် အလေး အနက်ထား ကြိုးစားဆောင် ရွက်သွားမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ကတိပြုရင်း ဤဝဘ်ဆိုဒ်မှတစ်ဆင့် အကျိုးရှိသော သတင်းအချက်အလက်များကို ရရှိနိုင်ကြပါစေကြောင်း ဆုမွန်ကောင်းတောင်း အပ်ပါသည်။
