Business Visa

Length of Stay – 70 Days

Visa Validity – 3 Months

Stay Extension – Can Apply

Additional Requirements for Business Visa

  1. Updated Company Extract Form.
  2. Evidence of Company’s current operations (License/ Permit/ Evidence from Government Agency, Business Contract with Other Related Organization (if any).
  3. Proclamation of the company’s board of directors regarding the foreigner.
  4. Company must submit last income tax payments (if applicable).
  5. CV Form including a prominent (2″x1.5″) size photograph taken within 6 months, education, experiences and permanent foreign address (domestic/ local address). (See attached form for full details)
  6. Employment contract and foreigner’s education certificate/ qualifications.
  7. If a foreigner submits a second extension, evidence of his income tax payment for the periods he/ she has served must be presented.
  8. Number of employees in company (foreigner/ citizen) including name, positions, passport number, national registration card number, phone number.
  9. Evidence of kinship must be attached for family members (wife/ husband/ son/ daughter) of relevant foreigner.
  10. Original Passport with minimum validity of six months and two blank passport pages.
  11. Three recent color photos with white background (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm).
  12. Duly filled two Application Forms.
  13. Duly filled one Applicant’s Occupation Form.
  14. One photocopy of passport information and applicant’s photo page.
  15. Invitation letter from the Company which was registered under Myanmar Company Act.
  16. For Waiting period on tax payment by company, to submit the explanation letter from the respective company.
  17. A recommendation letter from employer addressed to: Visa section, Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, give brief description about occupation, purpose of visit, intended arrival and departure dates.
  18. A photocopy of Hotel Booking.
  19. Applicants may be asked to provide other documents if and when necessary.

Length of Stay – 70 Days

Visa Validity – 3 Months / 6 Months / 1 Year

Stay Extension – Can Apply

Visa Fees – 200 USD for 3 Months

400 USD for 6 Months
600 USD for 1 Year

Visa Requirements

  1. Original Passport with minimum validity of six months and two blank passport pages.
  2. Three recent colour photos with white background ( 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm ).
  3. Duly filled two Application Forms.
  4. Duly filled one Applicant’s Occupation Form
  5. Duly filled one MJEV Form
  6. Three photocopy of passport information and applicant’s photo page.
  7. Invitation letter from the Company which was registered under Myanmar Company Act.
  8. A photocopy of valid Company Registration Certificate.
  9. Tax payment record or Tax exemption certificate.
  10. For starting period of established Company, to submit the explanation letter from the respective company about tax payment.
  11. For still procession period on tax payment, to submit the copies of the procession documents on tax payment from the respective company.
  12. For waiting period on tax payment by company, to submit the explanation letter from the respective company.
  13. A recommendation letter from employer addressed to: Visa section, Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, give brief description about occupation, purpose of visit, intended arrivaland departure dates.
  14. A photocopy of round-trip flight ticket.
  15. A photocopy of Hotel Booking.
  16. Detail Reason for Applying Multiple Entry Visa
  17. Applicants may be asked to provide other documents if and when necessary.
