H.E. U Aung Min Oo, Ambassador of Myanmar to Ethiopia, attended the commemorative high-level reception for the 80th anniversary of the United Nations held at the National Palace in Addis Ababa on May 13, 2026, at the invitation of H.E. Abiy Ahmed, Prime Minister of Ethiopia.

The ceremony was held to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the United Nations and to honor UN Secretary-General António Guterres. During the event, Prime Minister H.E. Abiy Ahmed delivered a speech emphasizing the modernization and reform of international organizations, the inclusion of African nations as permanent members of the Security Council, modern challenges and the technology sector, and matters regarding cooperation for peace.

The ceremony was attended by UN Secretary-General António Guterres and senior UN officials, high-ranking officials from the Government of Ethiopia, senior officials from the African Union, Ambassadors based in Addis Ababa, Heads of Missions, and guests.

အီသီယိုပီးယားနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးအောင်မင်းဦးသည် အီသီယိုပီးယား နိုင်ငံဝန်ကြီးချုပ် H.E. Abiy Ahmed ၏ ဖိတ်ကြားချက်အရ ၁၃-၅-၂၀၂၆ ရက်တွင် အဒစ်အဘာ ဘာမြို့၊ National Palace ၌ ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ခဲ့သည့် ကုလသမဂ္ဂ နှစ် (၈၀) ပြည့်အထိမ်းအမှတ် ဂုဏ်ပြုဧည့်ခံပွဲအခမ်းအနားသို့ ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။

အဆိုပါအခမ်းအနားသည် ကုလသမဂ္ဂနှစ် (၈၀)ပြည့် အထိမ်းအမှတ်နှင့် ကုလသမဂ္ဂ အတွင်းရေးမှူးချုပ် Antonio Guterres အား ဂုဏ်ပြုသောအားဖြင့် ကျင်းပခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ပြီး အခမ်း အနားတွင် အီသီယိုပီးယားဝန်ကြီးချုပ် H.E. Abiy Ahmed က နိုင်ငံတကာအဖွဲ့အစည်းများကို ခေတ်နှင့်အညီ ပြုပြင်ပြောင်းလဲရေး၊ အာဖရိကနိုင်ငံများအား လုံခြုံရေးကောင်စီတွင် အမြဲတမ်း အဖွဲ့ဝင်အဖြစ် ခွင့်ပြုရေး၊ ခေတ်သစ်စိန်ခေါ်မှုများနှင့် နည်းပညာကဏ္ဍ၊ ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးအတွက် ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ရေးကိစ္စရပ်များကို အလေးပေး ပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။
