H.E. U Aung Min Oo, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ambassador Mr. Siraj Reshid, Director General of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia on 18 December 2025 at 10:00 am at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Addis Ababa.

During the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on the matters related to sign a bilateral Agreement on Visa Exemption for holders of Diplomatic and Special/Official passports, the operational status of repatriating Ethiopian nationals who have illegally entered Myanmar through the border and returning them to Ethiopia via Thailand.

Additionally, they extended the discussion on the widespread media allegations that have been made that innocent civilians died during the Tatmadaw’s attack on a former public hospital in Mrauk-U Township, Rakhine State, where clashes are ongoing between the Myanmar Tatmadaw and the AA terrorist insurgents. The Tatmadaw conducted its military operations in strict compliance with established Rules of Engagement (RoE) for counter-terrorism.

အီသီယိုပီးယားနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးအောင်မင်းဦးသည် အီသီယိုပီးယား နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ ကောင်စစ်ရေးရာဌာန ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးချုပ် H.E. Ambassador Mr. Siraj Reshid အား ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်၊ ဒီဇင်ဘာလ ၁၈ ရက် (၁၀:၀၀) နာရီအချိန်တွင် အဒစ်အဘာဘာမြို့၊ နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာနသို့ သွားရောက်တွေ့ဆုံဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ပါသည်။

ထို့သို့တွေ့ဆုံစဉ် မြန်မာ-အီသီယိုပီးယားနှစ်နိုင်ငံအကြား သံတမန်နှင့် အထူး/ဝန်ထမ်း နိုင်ငံကူးလက်မှတ်ကိုင်ဆောင်သူများအတွက် ပြည်ဝင်ဗီဇာကင်းလွတ်ခွင့်ဆိုင်ရာ သဘောတူ စာချုပ်ချုပ်ဆိုရေးကိစ္စရပ်များ၊ အကြောင်းအမျိုးမျိုးကြောင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသို့ နယ်စပ်ဖြတ်ကျော် ရောက်ရှိနေသည့် အီသီယိုပီးယားနိုင်ငံသားများအား ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံမှတစ်ဆင့် အီသီယိုပီးယားနိုင်ငံသို့ ပြန်လည်လွှဲပြောင်းပေးမှုအခြေအနေများနှင့် ရခိုင်ပြည်နယ်၊ မြောက်ဦးမြို့ရှိ ပြည်သူ့ဆေးရုံအား တပ်မတော်မှ တိုက်ခိုက်မှုကြောင့် အပြစ်မဲ့အရပ်သားပြည်သူများ သေဆုံးခဲ့သည်ဟူသော မဟုတ် မမှန်သတင်းနှင့် ပတ်သက်ပြီး ဖြစ်စဉ်မှန်အားရှင်းပြကာ တပ်မတော်အနေဖြင့် အကြမ်းဖက် ချေမှုန်းရေးစစ်ဆင်ရေးကို (Rules of Engagement- ROE) နှင့်အညီ ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိသည် များကို ဆွေးနွေးမေးမြန်းကာ အမြင်ချင်းဖလှယ်ခဲ့ကြကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။
